The GP should be the first point of call for mental health problems. They will be able to explain the treatments available. They will either treat you or refer you to your community mental health team. There is somebody who can help.

You can also self-refer to IAPT here who can provide talking therapies for a number of difficulties including depression, anxiety, phobias, PTSD and OCD.
