Mental Health

The GP should be the first point of call for mental health problems.  They will be able to explain the treatments available.  They will either treat you or refer you to your community mental health team.  There is somebody who can help.

If you require support during a crisis single point of access is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week so you can get help when you need it.  Click here for information.

You can also self-refer to IAPT here who can provide talking therapies for a number of difficulties including depression, anxiety, phobias, PTSD and OCD.

View our Mental Health booklet which details services and apps which are available either via your GP or self-referral for a range mental health needs.
