Mental Health – Crisis support in Richmondshire & Hambleton

If you are experiencing mental health problems, or are concerned about someone you know, then a GP can help. GP’s act as a first point of contact and can provide initial support as well as providing signposting / referral and advice on mental health services.

1 in 4 people experience mental health problems in their lifetime.

However there are many support networks in the area and attached is a detailed brochure with many different services that can help. Many of the services in the brochure can be contacted immediately by the patient or worried family members and you will find self referral links within the brochure. It also gives links for young people and also parents or carers to find help and support.
