Unfortunately, in North Yorkshire the prescribing of weight loss injectable medicines, such as tirzepatide (Mounjaro) and semaglutide (Wegovy), is currently NOT available from GP practices.

Humber and North Yorkshire are finalising a new community-based weight management service to help deliver the wraparound care. Once this is in place, tirzepatide will be available to patients who meet the eligibility criteria.
Until then, we are currently unable to prescribe this.
