Healthy You

Healthy You is a service which provides information about eating well and keeping active.

Healthy You is designed to support you and your family to help you meet your lifestyle goals, which might be to be more active, eat better, or manage your weight.

For individuals, families, children and adults, Healthy You is provided for free by Active North Yorkshire, our sport and active wellbeing service.

 

Who can access Healthy You

You are eligible to access Healthy You if you are actively thinking about making lifestyle changes and are either:

  • an adult with a body mass index (BMI) equal to or greater than 30 (or equal or greater than 25 if you are from a black or minority ethnic group or have a condition such as Type 2 diabetes, heart disease or hypertension)
  • a child aged four or above at or above the ninety first centile for BMI – exceptions will be made for children and young people with no centile or BMI measure available
