We shall be offering both Flu and Covid vaccinations to our eligible patients this autumn.
Flu vaccinations will be offered to:
- Pregnant ladies
- Children aged 2-3 yr old on 31 August 2025
- Children in the clinical at risk group from 6 months to under 18 years
- Those aged 65 years and over
- Those aged 18 years to under 65 years in clinical risk groups
- Those in long-stay residential care homes
- Carers in receipt of carer’s allowance, or those who are the main carer of an elderly or disabled person
- Close contacts of immunocompromised individuals
- Frontline workers in a social care setting
These will be offered from 1st September 2025
You will receive an invite from the surgery if you or your child is eligible.

For autumn 2025, COVID-19 vaccinations will be offered to:
- Adults aged 75 years and over
- Residents in care homes for older adults
- Individuals who are immunosuppressed aged 6 months and over
The Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) has updated its advice for the Autumn 2025 covid campaign and this will now only target those at highest risk of serious disease, this is a national decision and means that this autumn, not all patients eligible for flu vaccine will be eligible to also have a covid vaccine.
These will be offered from October 2025. We will be contacting eligible patients closer to the time to book into clinics here at the Surgery.
